Since 2000, highly-trained astronaut teams have travelled 350 kilometres out into space to live and work. Most astronaut go for three months. Living in space is a bit like camping-you you have to take every thing you need, you use special equipment, and you have to dispose of your rubbish.
Almost all astronaut's food is in cans or dried. They drink through a straw, otherwise liquids float around the cabin. Astronauts always wear special suits. They are always white so that they are visible against blackness of space.
